Android Developer

Experience required – 2 to 4 years

Location – Bangalore

Job responsibilities

  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
  • Implement new technologies to maximise application performance

Skills and experience required

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in design and coding in Android, along with JavaM
  • Deep understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesM
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and multithreadingM
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend servicesM
  • Developing mobile applications for in-house platforms and products, on AndroidM
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycleM
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsM

Qualities that will make you successful in this role

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management and communication skills
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning will be an added advantage

Program Manager

Experience required – 1 to 3 years

Location – Bangalore

Job responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and deploying the project and program-specific strategies
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders for scoping and prioritising development activities based on the business impact/ team OKRs
  • Measuring and monitoring each project from inception to delivery, including tracking and communicating status, identifying and tracking cross-functional dependencies, proposing options to mitigate risk and drive issues to resolution
  • Proactively identifying and removing impediments on behalf of the team or negotiating with stakeholders when the project scope changes
  • Developing a deep understanding of the tech stack and supporting the needs of various engineering and product partners
  • Setting program management best practices, processes, and mechanisms for continuous improvements
  • Being part of SRS/ PRD walkthroughs and driving sprint planning discussions on all
  • Looking out for scope creeps and figuring project impact in terms of cost, effort, timelines and trade-offs accordingly
  • Communication of project timelines, risks, achievements to internal and external stakeholders including leadership
  • Problem solving, removing blockers and over time enabling delivery teams i.e. engineering, marketing, ops, setup, reporting, etc. to do so for themselves

Skills and experience required

  • A bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business, or related disciplines
  • 1 to 3 years in management consulting or related experience
  • Real day-to-day customer-facing experience and high customer empathy
  • Assembling, leading, and working within cross-groups and matrixed team environments
  • Problem-solving ranging from conceptualisation to implementation
  • Demonstrated performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and impeccable attention to detail
